After the departure of Jason Campbell in April, As We Fight can announce Esben Elnegaard Kjaer Hansen (Numbnuts, ex-Stomped) as the new vocalist.
Soren Hvidt states: “We are thrilled to announce that Esben Elnegaard Kjaer Hansen (Numbnuts, ex-Stomped) has joined As We Fight as the new vocalist. Esben is by no means new to touring life, which his work with Numbnuts, Stomped and stand-in duties in Nightrage demonstrates. Esben has already performed with us on five occasions, and we are very excited to have him on board!”
Esben Elnegaard Kjaer Hansen is currently locked away in the Smart N Hard Studio with producer Jacob Bredahl (Hatesphere, Koldborn) recording vocals for As We Fight’s third album ‘Meet Your Maker’, which will see a release later 2008.
As We Fight is, furthermore, planning tours for the Fall and Winter in support of the new album. The first couple of shows have already been announced and more will follow the next couple of weeks.

We are confirmed to play at the Waterpop Festival in Holland on August 9th. We look forward to get our asses back to Holland!!!

We're sad to announce that after seven years with the band, Jason Campbell will be moving on. We'd like to wish him all the best in the future!

We're excited to announce that our friend Esse (Numbnuts) will give us a helping hand for the shows in Denmark and Germany in May, where we furthermore will air a couple of songs from the upcoming album! See you guys on the road!

We haven't made many updates since the MTV Headbangers Ball Tour in September, but we've actually been busy as hell in the rehearsal room, where we have spent most of our time with the songwriting for the new album! So far we have 9 new songs ready, where we have toned the rock'n'roll influence down in favour of a more metal oriented approach. We have a very good feeling about the new material, and can't wait to recording session in January and February at the Smart'N'Hard Studio with Jacob Bredahl!

We have a new singer!!! His name is Jesper Gün, and he has been with us for about 5-6 months, so some of you have already seen him at the shows with All That Remains, Ieperfest and the MTV Headbangers Ball Tour. We are very happy to have him in the band as he is a great friend and a fantastic singer! We look forward to hit the road with him in 2008 in company with the upcoming album!!!
